University Libraries has announced the launch of its Open Textbook Pilot Program, an initiative designed to empower faculty in adopting, adapting, and creating Open Educational Resource (OER) materials for their courses. The program aims to alleviate the financial burden on students, encourage innovative teaching practices, and foster a community of practice centered on OER integration. Faculty who hold the rank of Lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor are eligible to apply. Proposals from graduate students or graduate assistants are also eligible. The application will close on Oct. 1, 2023.
