NASA introduced its Open-Source Science initiative (OSSI) last month, which intends to build an open science community over the next decade and share software, data, and knowledge (algorithms, papers, documents, ancillary information) in the scientific process. One of the key components of the program is TOPS (Transform to Open Science), which provides visibility, advocacy, and community resources.
