Grand Rapids Community College officials say a 2016 partnership with an educational group to lower textbook costs is saving students millions of dollars. This past academic year, officials say students saved about $3.3 million in textbook costs through the college’s partnership with OpenStax. That’s $2.7 million more than the $589,828 students saved in 2016-17.
