Over 800 teachers trained in use of online textbooks - Gauree Malkarnekar, Times of India

The days of wait for free textbooks for students or having to make do with the old ones due to shortage in supply may soon be over in Goa. Over the last few months, the state council for educational research and training (SCERT) has completed training of around 810 teachers teaching from Classes VIII to X in use of the E-pathshala app. The app, launched by the Union human resource development (HRD) ministry recently, provides content of all NCERT textbooks from class I onwards at a tap of your mobile phone.
